- I first learned of Bobby Wright through a mutual friend and customer. I then called Bobby and discussed with him setting up several (4) of my resonator guitars. In great detail, Bobby explained to me how he mates the right cone and spider for each guitar to achieve the best possible sound...In each case I felt the guitar sounded good, but had a bit more to offer. One of them needed minor repairs and I requested that the Regal undergo a complete hardware replacement. Bobby expeditiously and effectively communicated what needed to be done with each instrument... When I got each guitar back, I was amazed at the difference in sound and how all 4 good sounding instruments suddenly became FANTASTIC sounding instruments. I highly recommend Bobby Wright and his superb setup abilities when it comes to resonator guitars. You can pay more but you’ll find none better, and if you want it done right, call Bobby Wright.
